I'm Stephanie Rose, producer of Ichabod Caine and the Waking Crew on 94.1 KMPS. I'm 22 years old, and have lived in Washington state all my life. I was born in Seattle, and grew up in Everett, where I am still currently living.
I'm a big fan of music. I've played the piano since I was 5 years old, and since then I have taken up the guitar, bass, and drums. I suppose you could call me a "rhythm section girl". I was a member of Seattle Girls Choir for six years.
Aside from music, I'm a news girl. I can't get enough of it. My typical day consists of working in the mornings - where I read three papers, going home to watch Crossfire on CNN (I have a love for Tucker Carlson), flip around the networks, and then I usually have netflixed a documentary. Current favorites? "Waco: The rules of Engagement", "Weather Underground", and "The War Room".
The Art Gallery you find on this webpage is original art made from Polaroids. After taking a photo with a specific camera model made only from 1980-1982, I dig into the photo and manipulate the chemicals to create a paint-effect. When enlarged into prints, they could be mistaken for a painting. But I assure you they are not. If you have seen my acrylic paintings on canvas, you would know that I am not that good!
I started in radio almost 6 years ago at a station in Everett, and since then I've produced three major radio shows in the Seattle Market. Radio is my passion in life.
